They are totally screwed, there only chance is if Mizzou can pull out a win, because I don't think there's too much question about simply sliding tOSU up to #2. However, if Mizzou indeed loses (like it looks like they will) the BCS is just totally fucked....who do they put there?
By the way, Ohio State vs. Georgia seems like probably the worst National Championship I could have imagined for this season.

WE NEED A FUCKING PLAYOFF SYSTEM. So what if West Virginia lost to one of the worst teams in their conference? They should still play in the championship. But, yeah, a 32 or 64 team playoff system wouldn't kill nobody, even if it means that some of the best teams would have to play more than half the games in the system they played in the regular season.

It's simple, do 8 teams....
Gator Bowl Capital One Bowl Fiesta Bowl Sugar Bowl
Round Two: Orange Bowl Rose Bowl
Round 3: BCS National Championship
You lose none of the sponsors and teams have to play 2 more games than regular max

Four teams would be the only thing to improve what we already have. Even then, you'd have to get the teams right...which wouldn't happen. You'll find a way to complain about somethign no matter the system.
One more thing to think about. When do people pay attention to college basketball? March Madness. The regular season doesn't really matter. Everybody pays attention to the regular season in football...wanna take that away? IT'S FINE THE WAY IT IS!

The only thing I have against that is that in CFB more than any other sport it is based on prestige. If USC is say 11-2 or so and then Hawaii is 13-0.... most people would pick USC to play... do we really know they're better? No. We just assume they are because they have more hyped athletes and play in a bigger conference

I hated the BCS system as it was anyway. I knew something like this was going to happen and I was just waiting for it. Haha.

No. We just assume they are because they have more hyped athletes and play in a bigger conference This is the beauty of CFB. It's all about the controversy. That's why we come back for more every year. It's also a safe assumption that USC is a better team than Hawaii because they put better/more athletes into the NFL than Hawaii does. This is why an OSU, a USC, heck...even a Georgia is likely to get much stronger consideration than Hawaii. As for NAT CHAMPS, OSU vs USC. You've got to love the backdoor championship that's been created this year. The consistent inconsistency has made for a spectacular finish!

In that Sagaran Poll (part of the computer polls), it has Oklahoma ahead of Ohio State.
