sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/writers/peter_king/01/06/wild.card/5.html3. I think the nicest gestures of the week belong to Dallas safety Roy Williams and the Redskins. Washington listed the late Sean Taylor as their starting safety for Saturday's playoff game. On the other hand, Williams, who was named to the Pro Bowl as a replacement for Taylor, said he will have something special for the Taylor family in Honolulu, and this is what it is: He'll switch from his uniform number, 31, and wear Taylor's number, 21, for the game. A brilliant idea and nice tribute to the memory of a man who's been an inspiration to players and people in and out of the Washington organization.

Or can you have more than one person with a number in the probowl. I still don't see the point of it though.

Players can wear their own number in the pro-bowl. So you could have 3 #85's on offense if you had Chad Johnson, Antonio Gates, and who else is #85? Anyways.... I don't know what to think. I hate RW, but I think it's pretty cool. On another note...Gibbs resigned today.

Well he sucks anyways. If we fire Fox, which might happen for some stupid reason, pick him up. He likes to run and play D.

Maybe if it was a player with class, it would mean more to me... Roy actually does have a lot of class.... I've never seen anywhere people overblow the horse-collar tackle thing to this extent that you guys do on this forum. He horsecollared a few people so that means he has no class? Give me a break...

We don't overblow the horse-collar thing. We agree with every analyst on every station and the commissioner. We aren't saying that he didn't get a harsh enough penalty, we're saying he got he deserved.

The horse-collar penalty was put in BECAUSE of RW and he continues to make those types of tackles. He does deserve everything he gets from here on out. Next time he does it, I think he should sit for multiple games. If he does it again after that, sit him for 4 or 5 games.
If he's such a smart player, then he should be able to bring players down using another method. If he injures someone seriously on a play, the NFL will come down HARD on him. He's lucky this past time the guy didnt get injured and popped right back up. I forget who it was.
He's a dirty player.

It just got banned when TO got hurt and it is just his instict to do it. The only real dirty and unneeded hit was in the Pro-Bowl when he hit whoever it was hard/late. Horse-collar tackling isnt all that bad, TO is the only to get hurt by it. RW is really a classy person, though. I hate him as a S because he sucks, but he is classy. And the last guy was McNabb(see my avatar )
