Since XY is stepping down this off-season, I'm going to be re-vamping this section. There will be a new head of graphics appointed however the rules set in place will be constructed by myself. Right now there's still a vagueness to them and I want to get everything made crystal clear going forward.
If there's something you think needs adding, feel free to suggest it.
Grader Rules
*Some parts taken from XYs S6 rules
To become a Grader, you must first read through the Grader application thread (released in the off-season). Not everyone will be accepted as a grader. The best 5 graders will be selected from the applications submitted to start the season. If there's an overwhelming amount of graphics being submitted, the HoG (Head of Graphics) may add additional graders at his/their discretion but may not exceed more than 7 total graders in a season. For those who are not selected to grade, there will be a waiting list that will be used if the active graders fail to meet the standards. In the meantime, you MAY submit graphics if you did not get a grader position. (This will be new after some argument this season).
If your name comes up next on the waiting list and you refuse the position when offered, you will be dropped to the bottom of the list.
You do not have to grade every graphic, but the more you do will factor into how many points you earn each period.
All grades must be in by the end of the final game of the current period. Anything coming after that deadline will not count as an official grade for either the submitter or grader.
Do not under any circumstance grade with a bias. If its determined you are doing so, you will receive a warning. Future biased grading will result in your removal from the position. The HoG's decision is final and has full authority to remove anyone he thinks is not doing the job properly.
Every graphic must have a minimum of 3 grades prior to being finalized. All GFX will remain unlocked until the final game of the period concludes. At that time all GFX with 3+ grades will be locked and the deadline extended for any that have less than 3. For those remaining graphics, only the amount of grades needed to reach the minimum will be accepted.
For example, if GFX A only has 2 grades at the deadline, only the next graders grade will be accepted. The other 2 graders who didn't grade have missed their opportunity.
HOW GRADERS ARE GRADED:
Graders will receive a total amount of points based on the amount of submissions each period. From this total they will then have deductions for biased grading, bad grading or anything else the HOG deems worthy of a deduction. Here is the point scale based on the amount of submissions each period:
1-3 submissions = 1 point max for period
3-6 submissions = 2 points max for period
7-10 submissions = 3 points max per period
11-14 submissions = 4 points max per period
15+ submissions = 5 points max per period
Once it's determined how many points are possible for the current period, the graders will then receive a total based on the amount of GFX they graded vs the number of total graphics were submitted.
For example in P1 there are 21 graphics submitted. Since that's more than 15, there will be 5 points available to the graders. If I grade 15 of the 21 graphics thats 71%.
71% of 5 points is 3.55 (.71*5)
That's how many points the grader will start with for the period. If there are deductions, points will be subtracted depending on the individual situation. If no points were removed from this total, it would round up to 4 points as the graders final point total for the period. If there's a .06 deduction or more, it would round down to 3 points.
If there's something you think needs adding, feel free to suggest it.
