Welcome to my first ever FSJ version of Movin' The Chains. I'll attempt to have a wider subject base than myself and the Bunnies. On the show don't expect anything because I don't even know what I'm going to write about from show to show. For now, I'll just do what's on my mind and hopefully a lot of people's minds as we near the end of the season, my rookie contract is expiring. I will be hitting free agency in order to test the waters, but have already stated that the Bunnies are where I intend on signing.
Why I Should Stay With the Bunnies
1. 34 Million Dollars between team training and contract money in 3 years.
This averages out to 11.33 mill a year between contracts and team training, most of it was earned in season 5 where I received a 5 mill contract and 10 million in team training. This type of money shows that the Bunnies have put a lot into my player, and that they have basically made my player what he is.
2. The Bunnies look to be a dominant team over the next few seasons.
Making the Southern Division championship this year isn't a big deal, but six wins is if you ask me. With a rookie running back, two rookie safeties, and most of it caused by the losses of the teams top players I didn't expect us to be very competitive this season. Being that the Bunnies are the top TPE team in the league we should continue to improve faster than anyone else , especially with the teams youth.
Why I'm Entering Free Agency
1. I want to be the highest sought after free agent
Aaron Wilson sucks, and I would like to establish that teams would like me on there team more than him. This is actually one of my main reasons for entering free agency. As many people may know Wilson and I have a relatively clean feud in the ISL, which I'll try to avoid talking about all the time in this show. Wilson's list of teams he wants to go to and demands makes me wonder what I can pull off noticing how much better I am.
2. I Want to See What The Grass is Like on the Other Side
In my sim league career I have never been a free agent outside of in leagues where I joined midway through a season. The spectacle of it all intrigues me. Also going to another team will be a good way to see how other squads operate. In general there's nothing I can lose by testing the market.
3. My contract's expiring so I can't really avoid it.
Current Odds For Where I will go
Bunnies: 40%
Stars: 20%
Playboys: 20%
Rolling Thunder: 10%
Cougars: 5%
Firebirds: 5%
These odds are very capable of being fluctuated, my only rule is that I will not play on the same team as Aaron Wilson next season. Outside of that I'll go wherever I'm best fitted and for now that's easily Roseville.
