The Playboys FutureWith the Offseason approaching several players have forgotten about even watching the Pasta bowl and have turned their heads to what is going to happen this offseason. The current group of Free Agents consists of several potential Hall of Famers and probowl atheletes. THe Playboys came up short this season in regards to making the playoffs and also during the regular season. The current blow to the Playboys is the removal of cornerback Jesse James who has said that he looks forward to testing the market and seeing what his future holds. This blow may be drastic to the Playboys but Jesse has stated that he could still be returning to the Playboys if he doesn't feel that he has a better suitor. Playboys versus FirebirdsThe Firebirds "New Breed" sega has created a huge stigma that made players want to become a part of the new developing team. After several years of horrible play and poor management the team has finally showed turn around and became a top contender. This boom of players has also however set the Firebirds up to become a huge stretch of wins and maybe even become a dynasty in the FSJ. The thing is however the Playboys organization has an equal opportunity to make a run for being a dynasty but the players just have to come. After doing a poll on the Playboys website the consensus from fans is that they believe the Playboys must make some big time moes if they would like to make a run at being the next Pasta Bowl champs. Playboys OffenseThe Playboys currently stand with a decent position in regards to offense but need to work on their receiving core after losing DJ Johnson to the Stars last offseason. The Playboys do have a solid Running Back in Tyler Barabash but the running game of the Playboys can be stopped if it is the only offensive threat they actually have. Andrew Blumer and Aaron Wilson are the two names that stand out the most to me when I think of new offensive threats for the playboys as both of these men could add a new dimension to the Playboy offense they have lacked for some time. Wilson would become the face of the Playboys offense and possibly have a great chance on leading them to a championship in the upcoming season.  Playboy Defensive StanceOn defense what cost the Playboys their chance at making the Pasta Bowl this season was the lack of depth at the cornerback position. The current Free agent class consists of several players who could be solid Nickle cornerbacks or even starters. Players that could help the Playboys defense are Ken Sady, Cole Dorow, Jesse Jame and Tyler Logan. Ken Sady has history with current linebacker Javon Biggz and the chances of him becoming a Playboy are limited for this reason. Biggz has however played on a team with him before and the two simply didn't speak to each other when not on the field but when on the field at the same time magic was present.
Cole Dorow could be a huge asset to this teams defense after being one of the best defensive backs this past season it is no question that Cole Dorow is a man who is on a mission to make an impact on the league before he departs. If Cole Dorow ends up in a Playboy Jersey and Jesse James also decides to return the Playboys secondary will easily be the best in the league and wide recievers will have to wonder what to do against these two potential hall of famers. Tyler Logan would complete the Playboys Defense if the secondary improves as Javon Biggz has expressed his acceptance of moving to any defensive position that is better for the team. If Logan is marked in as Outside or even Middle Linebacker you can expect him to be a huge threat and probably help carry the run stopping defense to being the best the league has seen since the days of Xavier Young and company on the Pythons. Another Player that fans have expressed interest in is that of Tony Miles. The Man is only young but has shown some ridiculous speed and awareness of making sure quarterbacks cant get the ball out of their hands with out wondering if its going to be picked or deflected.  Its Clear that the Playboys have an opportunity here if the Players of the league are willing to listen. The Problem is that several players are un-sure that they will be the only ones making the move to St.Joseph but what they have to realize is that when others see them move others will move with them.
