watchthis, I love you, no homo, but your taking this a lil too seriously. XY only meant that you were arrogant like Belicheck, not that you are a cheater, b/c your not. I'm not saying you are arrogant, b/c I really don't think you are, but it's XY's opinion.

I'm the most arrogant? Hardly. You have a rookie Co-GM/playcaller who thinks he knows everything there is to Madden after having run "over 100 test sims" this off-season.  And I think I've earned my arrogance. When every other GM wanted to quick fix the Firebirds by giving them extra money, I was the guy who wanted to take the challenge and make them better the hard way. It's hard to build a winning team in this league and it's even harder when you start with a 0-12 team. I never said you hadn't earned your arrogance, I just said you were the most arrogant. Which you sort of admitted to, other than trying to put Bushito first. I do admit to being arrogant. It might be one of my many downsides. But the Playboys organization bleeds arrogance.  |

So this doesn't go where I know it will, I'll step in and say this about Watchthis. He's been a very good GM and whatever transgressions he's had at other leagues have not carried over to here. The Playboys have tried to take advantage of loopholes in the rules, but that's something most every GM looks for and will try down the road. I don't consider that cheating. That's called tring to gain a competitive edge. ;D |

Where in the article does it says the playboys have cheated.....all that has happened is that Watch is getting in a hissy about another person an NFL coach being referred to by a nicknamed that many people now call him it. It's a non-issue, that screams "i want attention"

You never proposed anything to help them, you just want them to rot and make your team look good. |

I wouldn't of minded Bellicheck type arrogance. We aren't even the most arrogant (TesT). But if he's going to associate us with cheating then I'm going to fight back. Sure I ran a pile of test sims this off season, I wanted to get a better feel for the league, I knew I wanted to be in a GM/co-GM role and wanted to be prepared for it. I've told you before that I don't know everything about Madden, but enough to get me by. I think you might still be a little upset because I was a little arrogant in saying I was better than Apples. In my defense though there could be better backs in the NFL than LT but since he consistently puts up better numbers nobody will care. I've tried to be relaxed and not fight or start things this season, I know you and alot of others hate the Playboys but Capto's gone and I'm not trying to take his place that era has ended and I hope to bring something different to the table. I have offered my help to you in any way possible on this site and have spent alot of my free time doing just that but it seems the more prominent my role gets with the Playboys, the more you want to cut me down. It's OK if you feel the need to try and hurt us as a team but I'm just wondering.... Can't we all just get along? |
